About the show

Peekaboo! Welcome to Bundle Baby, a gentle and playful theatre experience for babies aged 1 to 2 years, with older children welcome.

Set around the familiar world of the laundry basket, two performers explore simple objects and games to spark curiosity, laughter and connection. Tiny cloths, sheets, duvets and the basket itself invite babies to watch, giggle and join in if they wish, while grownups share in their child’s delight in a calm live theatre experience, gentle on little senses.

FAQ

Can I bring my older children?

Yes! Everyone is welcome at Bundle Baby, however the show is most suited for children aged 8 months to two years.

Can I come if I don’t have a baby with me?

Yes you can.

How long is the show?

The performance lasts between 25 and 30 minutes plus 10-15 minutes of playtime at the end.

Does my baby need to sit still and be quiet?

No! We’re really keen to encourage the children to respond however they like. They are welcome to sit quietly with you but the performers are ready if they do want to get involved!

If your child gets unsettled by this new experience (even though it’s been designed to be a relaxing introduction to theatre), we often find that by you simply standing up and moving slightly further away relaxes them enough for them to stay watching the performance. Obviously, if your child gets really upset, then it’s a good idea to take them outside but you’re very welcome to come back in once they’re ready.

I’m running late! Can I come in after the start time?

Absolutely! You will be welcome to come and go from the space whenever you wish during the performance, our usher team will be on hand to help you in and out of the performance space.

Will I enjoy the performance too?

We hope so! If you have any other queries or concerns please contact our friendly team at hello@cubbin.co.nzrn
